Clear rules.
Clearer choices.
A rules-based finder, built around your spending. No AI model selects your card. No commission enters the score.
Questions that follow your preferences
The finder branches from shopping, travel or bills into fee comfort, preferred stores or food apps, travel benefits and programmes, fuel brands, reward format and credit-card UPI needs. Platform loyalty and flight frequency adjust a clearly disclosed spending scenario. Changing an earlier answer clears answers from abandoned branches.
Every result is a comparison within our limited, reviewed catalogue. It is not a whole-market search or an approval assessment. Inactive and overdue cards are excluded. Calculated matches respect ownership, fee and verified preference requirements. If none qualifies, a clearly labelled closest alternative can differ from those preferences. Annual fee limits include 18% GST; the “any fee” option has a technical ceiling of ₹10,00,000. No fee waiver is assumed.
Verified requirements come first
A required UPI-enabled variant, specific travel or fuel benefit, reward format or named programme must be supported by reviewed catalogue metadata. Unknown support fails that requirement. UPI support is separate from Google Pay bill cashback on Android. A named airline, hotel, booking site or fuel brand must match the card’s verified partner tag. With no calculated fit, a closest-match comparison scores active partner offers: already owned adds 1,000 penalty points; unknown fees 20; above-budget fees 40; unverified UPI 60; missing benefit 50; missing named partner 30; different reward format 25. Each priority spending category mentioned in the researched headline or benefit text subtracts 8. Lower scores rank first; ties use card ID. Differences are displayed, never presented as verified matches. A fallback has no invented savings figure.
Statement cashback, wallet or brand balances, voucher points and miles are distinct reward formats. Legacy cards infer only an explicitly labelled statement or Amazon Pay destination, or a miles reward type; other support remains unknown. Miles cards appear only for a travel goal and when direct airline/hotel spending meets that card’s published editorial minimum. Programme metadata does not assign a cash value to lounges, hotel upgrades, milestones or other perks.
Spending ranges are scenarios
Expense bands start with illustrative monthly budgets: ₹10,000 below ₹15,000, ₹30,000 for ₹15,000–₹50,000, and ₹60,000 above ₹50,000. These are scenario amounts, not inferred actual spending or income. Selecting the final answer directly reveals a card, with a brief in-page card animation. Result details explain the illustrative budget; no exact amounts or transaction details are requested. Use mutually exclusive eligible purchases; exclude rent, EMI, wallet loads, insurance, jewellery, education and government payments.
Shopping scenarios allocate 65% to the selected platform and 35% to other retail; the Flipkart/Myntra option splits this into 40% Flipkart, 25% Myntra and 35% other retail. A mixed shopper uses 20% Amazon, 20% other online retail, 20% food and 40% in-store retail. Main-app food use assigns 60% to that app, 10% to the other and 30% to retail; mixed use assigns 35%, 35% and 30%. Partial Tata loyalty assigns 35% Tata and 65% other retail.
Fuel scenarios use 50% fuel, 30% retail and 20% bills; groceries use 60% groceries, 20% bills and 20% other retail; mixed essentials use 40% bills, 30% groceries and 30% retail. Travel uses 50% in the chosen travel category and 50% retail. Frequent flyers use 70% travel, occasional flyers 30%. These category shares are assumptions, not observed transactions. Amounts are rounded to whole rupees.
Reward calculation and preference ordering
Reviewed data supplies reward rates, caps, rounding, Prime or Android conditions and transaction fees. A specific brand rule takes that brand’s spending out of a broad parent rule, avoiding double counting. Online retail covers unassigned Flipkart, Myntra, Cleartrip, Tata, entertainment and booking-site categories; food covers unassigned Swiggy and Zomato; in-store retail covers groceries; direct travel covers direct hotels. Fuel (including separate IndianOil and HPCL inputs), rail, foreign currency and credit-card UPI never inherit general retail rewards: only explicit reviewed rules can value them.
Cashback estimates are monthly calculated rewards × 12 minus the full standard annual fee with GST. Joining fees are disclosed separately, so first-year value can differ. Wallet balance is labelled separately. Voucher points may be represented as cash-equivalent value only when the reviewed rates use a defensible redemption value; arbitrary point-to-rupee assumptions are not supported. Miles stay in their own units with fees disclosed separately.
After essential filters, the ordering value is 70% of total annual rewards plus 30% of annual rewards from priority categories, minus the full standard annual fee with GST for cashback. Priority categories are the scenario’s selected channels other than general in-store retail. Caps allocate priority reward proportionally to its share of spending, including shared caps. Transaction fees are deducted, and priority-category fees also affect the priority component. Ties use total annual value and then card ID. The result displays unweighted calculated rewards or net value, never this ordering value as money earned. Without preference inputs, the engine retains total net-value ordering.
Cashback and miles have separate rankings; neither is converted into the other. We include only positive net cashback or positive miles. We do not estimate welcome bonuses, fee waivers, lounge value, foreign exchange savings or redemption service charges. The finder does not ask about repayment. Reward estimates assume full statement repayment; interest can outweigh rewards. No commission, approval probability or credit score enters the formula. Only campaigns with a current affiliate application link enter the public recommendation shortlist.
Partner offer listings and calculation coverage
The searchable offer catalogue includes both specific cards and family campaigns. Entries without a complete numerical model can appear as closest benefit matches, with no fabricated savings figure. Unknown fees are displayed as unconfirmed, never as free. Each entry has its own source, conditions, original message and affiliate campaign. Two Tata Neu routes are retained in the admin, with one public family listing to avoid double counting.
For this GroMo batch, Flipkart Axis has separately capped Flipkart, Myntra and Cleartrip rewards. A statement-quarter cap is divided by three for the steady monthly scenario; actual uneven monthly spending can change results. PIXEL Play estimates only the eligible 1% base reward because selected packs are not collected. Scapia Visa coins are valued at ₹0.20 each for restricted in-app redemption, giving 2% on eligible domestic retail; this is not 10% cash. Other campaigns can be closest benefit matches, but have no savings estimate until their variant, caps, selection rules and redemption costs can be represented reliably.
Affiliate links and availability
Application buttons use exact, card-specific affiliate URLs supplied by PocketGleam, initially through GroMo. No referral URL is invented, shortened or replaced by a direct issuer application link. A button is enabled only for an explicitly enabled, unexpired campaign on an approved HTTPS host with a current card review. Cards without an active affiliate application are excluded from the public recommendation shortlist. Existing records are preserved in the admin.
We may earn a commission on qualifying applications. Commissions are not used in calculations or ordering. Our limited catalogue and partner availability can affect what you can apply for here. Issuer source links are for research and are not presented as tracked application buttons. Quiz answers are not attached to partner URLs.
